The Thomas/Pinkett Diaspora roots evolved from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The family began with descendants of William and Milky Ann Thomas and William and Henrietta Pinkett. The recognition of the Thomas/Pinkett family began with the union of Robert Thomas and Minnie Pinkett. Family gatherings began 80 years ago. A more formal organization (The Thomas/Pinkett Diaspora) began in May 1991. The family has yet to reach its potential. We strive to pursue our rich history and promote family unity; to perpetuate the Thomas/Pinkett tradition.
